Self Evident… Footprints

Humans didn’t evolve on Tuna Helper… or Adidas.

So the principle here is we are bio-electrical beings (even your brain dead asshat acquaintances) and function best when grounded to the Earth. Woo Hoo! – science can now demonstrate that, so it must be so. I like the before and after pic that shows clumped up blood cells becoming separated and free after 40 minutes of being barefoot grounded to the earth.

Seems as if all “Science” is doing lately is showing us the damage that Science has done to us. Ha ha – demonstratively, empirically, fucked.

When’s the last time you saw a couple of barefoot hippies beating the shit out of each other? All I know is when my shoes are off and I’m in the garden I’m not likely to be or get pissed off about anything.

Civilization sucks. Shoes are just one small example of why that is so.

I saw that over at Cryptogon. What I disliked about that is that site’s commoditizing of a natural phenomenon. I guess no one will take it seriously unless there is a product to buy to facilitate it.

Heh heh, Cryptogon is my first bookmark…

I guess I understated the “duh” factor in my post, It never occurred to me that I should run out and buy a wire net to sleep in, but then who has been barefoot long enough to know… how to do things barefoot? Today I’m dismantling a wall, climbing around on a step ladder and monkeying in the ceiling joists – barefoot. Old heavy oak lumber and big ass rusty 16d nails. No danger of getting hurt because I know where my feet are going. It’s not about being careful – it’s being attuned.

First thing I do when I get home from work is kick off the boots. I hate being cooped up in work boots and socks all day…

I bought the Earthing book a couple of months ago. All you really have to do is to take a piece of wire, old lamp cord, and strip it off to get bare wire. You then attach that to the ground lug of a properly grounded outlet, checkable with a voltmeter. You could also connect it to a piece of wire going outside to a stake driven into the ground. The finely stranded wire is soft and can be placed across the bottom sheet of your bed, and if it is long enough, attached to opposite sides of the bed towards the foot of the bed. I doesn’t cost anything if you have a few old wires and cords around. I use an old computer power cord as an access to ground, and just strip it towards the computer end, taking off the outer jacket, and stripping carefully the green (check it to the ground lug) and wrapping the stripped lamp cord and taping it in place. It works fine if it is a bit crude. I set that up for a friend 78 years old with back and wrist and hand issues. One for her bed and another in her living room for her hands while she sits and reads. It has helped her. It has also helped other friends. I use it and though I am in pretty good shape I would say that it eliminates the morning aches.
I have set it up for my mother at age 90, but haven’t gotten any results for her yet.

Thankyou for your experience. Kevin over at cryptogon asked for real world experience so if you’d email
    kevin@cryptogon.com
    he would appreciate it.

It will be awhile before I’m living in a cob hut with an earthen floor, so your example sounds like the next best thing!
